Hi there, welcome to my blog page!
I am a retired pharmacist who loves getting ‘out and about’ and taking a few photos along the way for the record – some of which I would like to share with you . . .
I was born & raised ‘up north’ in Preston, Lancashire, went to Uni in Manchester, then after qualifying as a pharmacist was sent to work in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania as a VSO volunteer. That was the start of over 30 years working as a pharmaceutical advisor in East & Central Africa (Malawi, Uganda & Kenya) with various development agencies.
Around 10 years ago I was introduced to the joys of Geocaching (see here) – an absorbing, entertaining and sometimes challenging activity which involves trying to find hidden geocaches in interesting places – ideal for a naturally curious person like myself!
So, let the travels begin . . .
